Logos Academy FAQs
1. What about STEM? Scientific investigation, technological innovation, and mathematical insight all require mental training in ordered and critical thinking. Werner Heisenberg, who formulated quantum mechanics, credited that achievement to his study of classical education! Modern STEM jobs are so much more than computer programming and lab skills: employers are seeking well-rounded students who know how to learn and who communicate well.
2. Why doesn't Logos have a chess club? No one has offered to lead one. We invite parents and faculty to lead clubs. Our students are enthusiastic for the clubs we do have and we are grateful to the parent and faculty moderators for donating their time and gifts to our community.
3. What resources does Logos have for students with "learning differences"? Logos faculty do not have the special training required to teach students with learning differences. We do offer limited accommodations on a case by case basis.
